nice. it feels old school. I could see it being used in the custom motorcycle industry.
do you have a finished version?
I draw it out and get the basic idea in a very rough form. Then I look at what side looks better. The face is pretty much re-traced as is (in illustrator with pin tool) then since the rest of the image is going to be a mirrored image I just do one side and do alot of re-touching and line cleaning and also adding and taking away here and there.
I like the right side better.
That's the same thing I do.
really like the CPG perspective. Its nice to see that people still use pencil and paper to design.
Do you use a tablet when you do the retrace?
Nice work. I really like the punk band X drawing. I can see that on a t-shirt.
The poster is great too but I'm not sure why you chose those colors. The light yellow/cream doesn't seem like the right choice.
I look forward to seeing more of your work!

I tryed alot of different version, plus I had a very, very little time frame to get them done before the show. I also had to screen print and ship them. I was burning the midnight oil just to get them done in time
I'm in the process of screen printing the main image (skull bandito) alot larger
in 4 or 5 different colors of wood. That I will sell as art pieces

thank you
No,.. just a mouse. Click-Bend-Click with the pen tool
At the time I was pushing myself to do something I thought I could pull off but at the same time no sure if it was going to come out right. As long as I have a crisp and clean photo. That's makes a big difference.
The cell phone was a picture I took with a digtal camera. I used a tripod and took the picture with the timer. To make sure the camera didn't move. The photo I worked from grabbed all the detail and made alot easier
for me to re-trace in illustrator.

really great effort
I like the quality of your finished work, I also like the retro poster and the logo
keep it going![]()
The car and the phone are amazing, u definitely r a pro. When I was making photorealistic wasp it took me months, and by the end I totaly lost the enthusiasm. Maybe I wanted to make it too real or its just was too complicated for the first try. Whats your story.
