I use Flickr as my portfolio, I think it works good.

Anyways, pretty cool portfolio. I think you got some good stuff! Your logos seem pretty well illustrated and unique.
One thing I really like that I will think about using for my own portfolio is your use of a template for each of your works. I think thats a nice touch.

I really like the following logos for their use of typography/color and their effectiveness as a mark:

    - Blue Flame Catering
    - the white flame in the red bubble

I am drawn to these because they are simple and memorable. The other designs are too complicated/busy for a logo. Just my opinion. I hope that helps. I agree with oxynite that you should try more logos that are 2D. If you like the 3D effect, I would suggest simplifying the rest of the logo in some way —different choice of font, fewer colors, etc.

I agree that there are a lot of 3D designs. I find that simpler/2D logos are more versatile and have a cleaner overall look.

You have some great work in there. Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with!

I am aware of that but in most of the cases my clients choose between a 2d version and a 3d one the second...and I can't tell him that the 2d one is cleaner and easy to memorate 'cause his/her colleagues already told him that the "shiny" one is the coolest
Anyway I have plenty of 2d logos in my computer... but my real problem remains the typography...though I didn't knew that until my application was rejected
