A Designer's Monologue - Experimental Publication Design - Feedback

Hey,
Just wanted to share my latest project with everyone here and hopefully get to know your opinions about it. If you remember, I'd started a thread here earlier titled "What is design?"... I've used information gathered through that thread (along with several other survey sources) to create this book. I'd like to thank everyone who posted in that thread and I hope you like what has resulted from it.

That is pretty cool and think you did a good job on the project.

I went to the second link on the Designers couch. but couldn't see each page. they wouldn't come up for me. could be cause I'm using an older Internet Explore though.

A good design is not what you see, the content is very important and you selected great thoughts about being a designer.

What I love about my profession is how one grows up with work experience, I am a better designer than two years ago and a lot worse than I am to be in the future!

I live in Barcelona, Spain. Is impossible for me to have a copy of this?

I'm really glad that you find the book interesting enough to request a copy, but I'm not distributing it in print at the moment. Maybe if there's sufficient demand, I can get it printed in bulk and send you one. Till then, you can share the Issuu.com version of it if you like.

Image is everything in our business and this is already a strong self promotion for you. I strongly advise you to look into an online service that does one offs for print on demand. Prospective clients will appreciate your work!

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. Right now I don't work with any local clients, so there wouldn't be much of a point in getting copies of this printed. However, I do plan to get several copies printed once I'm out of college (to be sent along with my resume to design studios).

I love the concept and it is very well executed and I agree with robert777, you combined type and graphics really well.

I had a look at all the pages and I think the way you have captured the essence of modern design in just a few pages is brilliant.
