    Cool My portofolio Design technique

    Hello Design Contest Members

    Today I would like to share some techniques I did for my website tho- it will be usefull..

    view my Website here

    Tools I used:
    • Photoshop CS4
    • Dreamweaver CS3

    Layout Concept: DIV
    Photos Popup effect: Jquery Fancybox-1.0.0 ( these for the Ajax popup images)

    * For the Photo Layout Scroller I used a Div and specify a height, with a CSS Overflow: auto, thats gives the function of the iframe which is a normal css

    The Overflow Scroller Box Style
    Code:
    .web-design  {
    	position: absolute;
    	left: 41px;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	color: #8F8F8F;
    	text-align: justify;
    	overflow: auto;
    	height: 350px;
    	width: 782px;
    	top: 13px;

    }
    I'm not sure is it a good idea to share my Design Technique, But anyway we didn't born good designers, Otherwise we get to learn till we cover everything

    I hope my design techniques gives newbie designers new ideas on how to improve their designs with the latest web technique in the world wide web,

    Best Regards,

    Thanks for sharing that, although I generally try to avoid absolute positioning.

    Nice work none the less !

    atondex,

    Why trying to avoid Absolute position? Its Peace of cake, I admit its hard at the first time, but seeing some tutorials make it easy to learn!, Now all my work are all Divs with relatives and absolute positions. I Can Say it makes my life easier lol

    One of the sites i made with Absolute Positions
    Drakeplus.com

    Its really Compatible with Firefox and IE all versions. There isnt any difference if u view it on Internet explorer or Firefox or opera .. But using tables you will have a bit px between Firefox and IE

    At the end every designer works as the way he feel comfortable to. Thanks for the comment

    Im Sorry, I meant Vise versa I'm working with Photoshop CS3 and Dreamweaver CS4 and Yes they are compatible with each others as Dreamweaver has a standalone installer as the Photoshop.
