It's nice, but what kind of company or industry does it represent ?

Because it might be appropriate for a company or industry, but totally wrong for another.

That's why they say there aren't any bad logos, just inappropriate ones. Or to put it another way: A logo that is not appropriate for a particular company or industry might be appropriate to another.

That's why I'm asking you that about the logo.

Nice, text looks a little weird at the edges though, try setting it to "Smooth".

try to replace the black with a dark gray, if you notice not many designers use the black... is to heavy on the presentation and doesnt help with the readign of the text.
I like you logo, keep up the good work.

I think you should leave the half moon silhouette. the typography is enough on its own. (it would be useful to know more about the client.)

atondex, that is true but there are always exceptions. Take the nike swoosh logo...if you didn't know it was for a shoe, one would ask the same thing what does it stand for?
