Totally agree, the timing and accuracy is incredible! Must have been an amazing atmosphere. Especially at the drum countdown, that was pretty awesome.

IT is PATHETIC that here in US. we have to wait until 'prime time' (8:OO to see).......wwatching now(many hours since actual opening
)
IT is BEYOND incredible, my 7y & 10y are completely mesmerized

i was amazed when i saw all the fireworks, i thought i was perfect..but i got disappointed with what those chinese did..some are pre-recorded and even their national anthem singer was fake (she had a ghost singer)??? i cant help but think chinese people are the best in making FAKES.

They did a wonderful presentation... I don't think making a computer generated fireworks and lip-sync a song is a crime in the olympics.

It's a shame to find out they were computer generated fireworks.
But I think it's worse that they didn't let the girl who sang it, sing it live because she had crooked teeth... Personally I think that's a bit pathetic.
Other than that, it was still outstanding.

Haha, I don't think all of them were computer generated. When watching the only ones I thought looked a bit like CGI were the foot prints "walking" to the stadium. But there might have been more, I don't really know to be honest.

Is it confirmed? Perhaps the fireworks outside the stadium... whatever, for me it's not a big deal.

I watched it and i have to say its little dissapoitment for me.. There were really amazing scenes, but there were boring passages as well.. im really demanding spectator. Its my problem.. Ending ceremony i turned off after few minutes :x
