Spam post question

Is anyone else noticing that when you report spam advertisements that it takes a long time before they are removed? Just curious, but how often are the forum categories other than active contests moderated?

I just worry that others browsing & seeing them there for a while might get the wrong idea it's ok to do, you know, "the domino effect", or "monkey see, monkey do" syndrome. lol

I'm pretty sure the spam reports are sent as a PM to a mod, so it just depends how long it takes for a mod to see them... I'm not 100% sure about that though.

On another note, were you aware that your portfolio link doesn't have a portfolio, but instead has a general directory type search page?

Ugh damn free hosting companies... thanks for the heads up!

The graphic/web design company I just got a job at have said they'll let me have a free hosting account on their server so I can experiment with stuff, I'll move it there when I get a chance.

Edit: I just logged into the hosting and checked the site, it looks up again to me, is it working for you? Thanks for the help, can't wait to get it moved to somewhere better!

Make sure if you see them that you hit the RED flag at the bottom left and report it. After I do that it usually takes less than 10minutes to see them gone. also depends on the time of day and who is around to moderate.
