AI... never tried Corel but I know designers who use it and claim "they can't figure out AI." Not sure if it is less intuitive.

I use both, in some things Corel is better. It getting frustrating when you want to select something in Ai. :)

AI. Because of it's compatibility with other Adobe products. Adobe products have almost the same set of tools which make it easier for users to move from program to program.

Ai The One and Only Best Software for Designing, I don't know but CorelDraw doesn't fit in my mind.

I tried both AI and Corel. First I learned AI and said it it hard to learn Corel, and when i learned Corel it is the other way arround. Better to stick to one and learn it well...what design comes in the end is what matters.

It also depends on your situation when you are choosing which software to use. For example I already own legal copies of Adobe Dreamveawer and Photoshop, so by default I will choose Ai because I am already familiar with Adobe products.

And I have't tried neither Ai or CorelDraw. It's just somehow feels better when using one companies products and not jumping from one to other.
