Hi all, I need your help unmasking a plagiarist

I'm a designer like you, but a hired "offline" one. I registered to this site many years ago, never had time to take extra online projects. I know as you know, what it means to create a new original identity. And that a real designer is in the first place honest and respects others work. A friend of mine came across a plagiarist, who used the below symbol, added a name and actually won a competition with it. I saw this symbol, but I can't remember under which company it is already registered. I'm quite sure is already registered because is a simple shape which can be done in 3 moves and 10 sec. The actual owner is unaware of his ignorance.
Since this is an international site, chances are greater someone to know which company already owns it. I can't stand these false designers who take credit and money for other’s work. I'm sure there are others who feel the same way, that these people who steal must pay for their actions.
