    Thanks for the link, inspiring works indeed, but I most point out that in some portraits the designers "cheated" using just regular drawing techniques and not only letters, but it is alright I guess

    some nice work. agree w/ resurepus some looked as if they used actual lines and stuff. But I really could get close enough to see if the lines were of actual type on some of them.

    I very much love the one of Steve Jobs. I am a huge Apple lover!!!! I have had that wallpaper for a while, and I love to sit back and read all the stuff written in his face. It's sometimes very encouraging and inspiring to have something like that. Maybe DC should hold a typographic face contest?

    It seems like it would just require a good eye and a ton of time. Not much to tutorial, just maybe the process of starting with an image below at 30-50% opacity and covering it up in the right places with the right letters/etc. Really an artistic expression medium. I like it.

    Sort of along the same lines; I had seen this guy on some show on tv where he uses an old typewriter to create some pretty awesome artwork.
