Very neat idea, it is functional, by gluing the middle gear, so that the other hold each other in place and allow themselves to be turned. Read that it uses three layers, front, back, and middle (gears), and that if the middle is not made of good thick paper, it can catch on the openings. While very original, the uses would seem limited to a select "types" of businesses. Also, I think there is too much gears and not enough area for your actual information, imo.

I love unique business cards, when someone takes a standard, basic object and makes it into something outstanding and memorable.

Here are a few other unique business cards for inspiration!

Haha. I think the above tools are like ones people use for picking locks.
As the card is for a security company.
They might be gaining more business by giving out more cards .
    Very cool idea.

I finally tried to make one of those geared cards I donno what paper he is using but I used 200grams and it totally did not work at all. The gear teeth just jump over each over each other and the things just wont turn.

I like the design but it does not seem that the card mechanically works...
It is just an added show off for the card to resemble it to the owner..

    Absolutely cool.

This website below has some really cool things done with paper. For example, an origami lens that is 7 times more powerful than a conventional lens.

    More Origami Stuff
