I had problems with free font before, especially with illustrator., badly designed fonts corrupted my files

But i like www.fontsquirrel.com, its not the biggest, its not very well known, and its all fonts that you could find anywhere else, but the quality selection is superior than the other free fonts site that boast 10 000 crappy fonts. I dont want to browse 25 pages before finding what i want...

    Quality before quantity

other than that? dafont is a classic

be careful with free font and always check their license if it's for commercial use too

thanks for the links. i see a lot of free alternatives for popular commercial fonts out there. is this an example of 'you get what you pay for'? are these free alternatives just as good as their commercial counterparts?

urbanfonts - hope it wasn't mentioned yet, but this website has some nice fonts
And it's easy to use and see how your word for the logo let's say, will look.
