:)My name is Cinda. Very new to design work and probably the oldest on this forum. I love to work with flowers and have had a floral business 18 years and floral internet business nine years.

Married 37 years to the most wonderful person on earth. Have two grown children and one grandchild. I am very close to my church friends and travel when I get the chance.

Learned Photoshop CS2 and InDesign CS2 through video. Much yet to learn though and it took months. Just finished the first floral book of images with CD florists will be able to use on their web sites without the costs of wire service. Have also been working on post cards and enclosure cards for florists. Within time, will hire a team to create a professional site as right now the one I put together has to do until we roll.

I just found this site and love the work and the posts. I do not feel I am enough of an expert to give advise, but I know what looks great and will share - if you like an older person's view.

I normally get away from the computer since I am on it all day with work but was looking for a group who also enjoy design and will try to visit as much as possible.

Photoshop is my favorite. Have only touched the tip of Illistrator. Love InDesign but wish the publisher were used to transparencies.

Born 1952 - live in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Think that is about it.

Hi, Cinda,
Welcome to DesignContest.net!
The age of the members of our forum varies a lot. There are a lot of students, but a lot of grown ups too. It's never late to learn something new and that's what we do here :)

Please, do share interesting things with us in the discussion forums (such as Design Chat, Hangout, Inspiration, etc)

Welcome Cinda! Age and location vary a great deal on here. There's people on here from all over the world, which is very cool. I'm no expert or anything, but I like to work in Illustrator more than photoshop these days, so if you have an Illustrator question, feel free to ask.

Thank you both and thank you for the offer to help with Illustator. I just love your work and have visited your web site. Just beautiful.

I will need to view much more before I can ask an intelligent question.

Hi Cinda, welcome to this great forum.

I think the age does not matters in design at all. I have 30 years and i started to work in design/advertising in 1997 and i can say that i have learned or by myself or from my elder friends/workmates.
I have a wonderful child named Emese, and beside my work i (try to) enjoy every minute with my wife and my child. I spend, also, a lot of time in front of my PC trying to improve my skills in design/DTP.

BTW, sorry for my horrible hungarian english.
