Contest Title: PHCPACK215.COM

Contest Deadline: 5/28/2010

Prize Amount: $0.. charity/nonprofit.

Colors To Be Used: Up to the designer. But was thinking blue and gold or earthy tones. If you have a better idea in mind, have at it.

Company Details: This is for our local Cub Scouts.

Please describe your project in detail: The Website will have a total of 8 pages. What I need is a nice homepage for information/introduction. A photo page so site visitors can see everything the local cub scouts pack215 does, like camping, fishing, competing, crafts and so on. There will be five pages; one for each pack. (Tiger, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear and Webelos) and calendar page. I'm sure most pages can be duplicated.

The Leaders that will be updating the website aren’t really computer savy so it needs to be updated easily and for possible multiple users.

At this point I’m not sure if I’ll need the page(s) coded since they haven’t registered or decided on a host site yet.

This is the current (old) site Cub Scout Pack 215 | Lacey Washington this pack is part of the Pacific Harbors Council The Pacific Harbors Council and a general scouting site Scouting I don’t necessarily want to mimic these sites as I want it to be unique and somewhat up to date (modern if you will). I’ll be designing a Pack 215 logo and will provide that once it’s been approved. If you have any questions feel free to post them and I’ll do my best to answer them for you.

- What is the audience type
- Whats the colors to be used
- Would you like a large fonts style or a small fonts like in the current website.
- Will you provide me photos, or you prefer a non photos to be presented.
- would you like a FrontPage designed in Photoshop? or the whole pages designed in a Photoshop?

appreciate you jumping on board with this.
The audiance will mostly be parents of kids ages 5-14. but expect some of the kids to check it out.

As for colors the "main" boy/cub scout colors are blue and gold. but this doesn't mean that it has to be. it can also be kind of organic w/ earth tones.. just use your best jugement.

Font I dont' know maybe stay in the middle somewhere not too large but not small either.

I don't have any photos yet. they have to get release forms signed by parents of the children so mabye just a place setter will be fine.

I have dreamweaver, but the end users will be the "Packleaders" and will want to update it at least once or twice a month. I've told them to host it at fatcow.com. For now lets just keep it simple and say photoshop.

I'm not a fan of the strips however. if you could get rid of those and use that slightly lighter blue for the background it'd be great.

I was told last night they started a facebook page. I haven't seen it nor do I have facebook but I'll look for a link to it, if it helps. You may not even need to see it? just tossing it out there.

Glad that you like it xD, not everyone love the Stripes lines, lol (i love it) i removed it anyway per your request and added the light grid blue background.

great. can you put the darker blue header where it says cub scout pack215 lacey, WA. I liked that in the first one you submitted. But I also like the added gold line. so keep that.
