Earth-Hour design idea

i believe that most of us witnessed that event last Saturday march 27 ..that for 1 full hour (it was 8:30 to 9:30 pm in my time) 99 countries around the world agreed to turn of the electricity as an action against the changes in climate.

DEFINITION FROM WIKIPEDIA:
Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth Hour was conceived by WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights. Following Sydney's lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008. Earth Hour 2010 took place on March 27, 2010 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the participant's respective local time.

so i suggest designers can make a free design about their feeling towards this huge cause..maybe a poster, a logo...ETC

I think it's a good idea, although maybe it would be more sensible to do this for Earth Day since it's coming up this month. I'm sure it would be okay to incorporate Earth Hour into the submissions, but not make it mandatory Just a thought!

also a great idea shefshef019 ..i only thought since this event was recent at the time i made the thread & also different it would be nice to create something for it
anyways all the suggestions are out there ..whatever is good enough will be used

what's amazing about this day is that alot of ppl really supported & felt the event all around the world with the power off & every thing..feels like we are really showing support
