    "loading" screen in javascript

    Hello..
on my website I have a menu made with photoshop (ImageReady) slices and it has small gif animations and if visitors have a slow connection all the effect of the animations and the whole menu is kinda bad so I heard that in JavaScript there is possibility to make a small "loading..." animation while in the background the script loads the images on the cache memory and this assures that when visitors look at the menu it works properly..

Anyone knows where I could find this code????????????????

    thank you!!

I just googled for - "loading" screen in javascript - and found plenty of valuable links for your answer.

One of them was this one - http://jdstiles.com/java/preloadingscreen.html - and this one - http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=1888

Click here for more links and I think you'll be able to solve your problem easily.

PS - google is your friend
