Illustrator ftw. I've seen beautiful work done on both but Illustrator cannot be matched in terms of it's functionality and compatibility with other Adobe products like Photoshop, Flash, and Bridge. Vector perfection.
I don't discriminate really... I work with both =)
illustrator thumbs up.
Corel in the past, both of them now.
I used Corel for a few times but I feel more confortable working under Adobe brands.
correl for me
can you give me the perfect idea wat to use either coral or adobe
I prefer Illustrator only because that is what I have used for the past 12 years.
Adobe illustrator is the best...
Corel X5 is supposed to be good for UI prototyping. Any expert comments from power users?
I prefer to work with Adobe products, I don't know why , but I have a kind of familiarity with them. But i use Corel too.
Well, if all I had to choose between was Corel & Adobe software's, I would choose Adobe. I Honestly like both and Corel even renders in adobe extensions which makes it a hard choice since the biggest obstacle is that adobe extensions are more viewed as industry standards due to the size of it's user base.
When it comes to software's though, it really comes down what a designer is most comfortable using and if the end result is truly ideal for the clients needs.
If I'm not limited between corel and adobe, then I would choose Serif software's. Matter of fact, my primary vector software is Serif DrawPlus x4 and I have been using serif products working on 6 years now. I still own adobe illustrator cs3 as my secondary vector solution, however I'm just a die hard serif user. to each there own though, as you normally won't find 2 seasoned designers that do everything the same, we all develop our own ways of doing things with different tools.![]()
I guess Adode the best for Web and Print media.

I think, adobe is more professional than corel, corel is like for beginners and lazy designers xD.
this is what i think, so I use adobe.![]()
love corel
Adobe is the no-brainer choice for any designer in my opinion.
I am currently stuck with ps7. What are the pro's and con's...or just con's I suppose?
