Hello! I just wanted to enter another entry to see if it is more so towards what you want. This is of course in development so the html is not complete and the links right now are just images. I used more grey than any other color because I think it makes it look more clean. The blue bar and arrow below the links will be able to move as the user hovers over each link. This will either be done using flash, or html. For the subpage for men, I was going to put an image of a guy in instead of the girl and still have the blue waves.

The page can be longer of course, and I will be putting the links on the bottom in the grey bar. If you want, I can change the logo as I am not sure if you liked it in my old design. Just wanted to show you some progress on the new design I have made. Click usperfumes below to see. If it is possible, may I get some specific feedback on what needs to be changed or about what you like or do not like.

Thank you for your submission, but it is not what we are expecting. The choice of colors are too strong and the layout is very basic. Our sister site ParfumParfum.com should give you some idea. Not to mimic that site, but with a sense of aesthetics.

My criticism is purely subjective, I hope you do not take offense.

The Site layout that you've given is extremely basic, almost non-existential. You're color choice is ok, but the layout demands more "liveliness" so far as to make people want to buy and browse more.

- Do you need like a special logo, or is a Text Logo fine?
- Any specialy wanted colors (ok i know purple etc etc.)
- Do you need (X)HTML or just the SLICED .PSD

I really appreciate ALL the efforts that were put in to designing USPerfumes.com.
I'm a little disappointed, however, on the quality of the projects put forth. My only reason on setting up this contest with DesignContest.net was because I was in awe of some of the other results and contests that were won.

I can only attribute the weak outcome of this contest to maybe us not providing enough informaiton. The proper sense of aesthetics is still missing and all layouts have been so heavy on Strong Colors.

I dont know what more to say other than asking the administration of this website (Illumina) to end this contest.

If anyone has anymore suggestions, I'll be willing to listen to them.

Hmmm.. bad to hear, but i must say, there are a few entry that made me do wow.. Like the last one of nonameface.

But unfortunly you dont like it.

I think a few of the designs listed were really nice. I think the main problem is the complete lack of feedback. Designers rarely create a first draft that awes their client. It takes work and collaboration between the two parties.

Also, the higher the quality the higher the price. I think you got some very nice entries for a $200 contest.
