    Logo Design

Looking for some feed back on a logo design for my website. I think the general idea that I have worked out - but I feel like it needs something more. Any thoughts are welcome. Please be critical.

One thing it needs for sure is a little bit more contrast between the two colors you used!

The alignment of the overall stuff is disturbing me. It is somewhat necessary for the visual pun you created to work, of course, but it could be better in the rest of the text.

I really don't know if a calligraphic font is necessary, you could try something else to see how it looks. Make it look more sober, you know.

EDIT: by the way, nice visual pun, really enjoyed it In my humble opinion, few things can make a logo more rich than a good, intelligent visual pun!

I like it but i also agree with gerhard...it needs more flash or something
think of it this way...if I saw it with a bunch of other logos I probably wouldnt remember it. I do however like the integration with the g and 5...maybe u can try something more condensed

I agree, the alignment, something unsettling about it. As for color, it was more of the idea I was thinking about - color hasn't been explored too much yet. Another Idea I was thinking about - again, just in bw mode right now.

    thoughts / suggestions.

I had a 5 and a g worked into a design but for the life of me can't find it.

I actually like the last one you posted. nice, clean and simple.

    Christina -

I really like your concept and idea. I prefer the second one you posted over the first with regards to the placement of the 85.

What I think you should experiment with now is the font and the color separation.

    Keep up the good work.

This last one you posted is so much better than the 1st one! The "5" and the "g" are so well integrated right now I think you don't even need a color separation! Just work with the font (still a seriff one, that "5"+"g" is looking great with seriffs) and put some color in the hole thing! Great logo!

im agree with gerrard, i think that you only need to use different colors, try a grey first, on the numbers. It will be great to see if the logo is clear or not.

I think the second logo has potential. Maybe try and separate more the g and the 5. Maybe try a different font, or color.

Here's a very fast and crude example, in the attachment.
Is it important that the .com should remain big ?
If it's not very important, you can make it smaller and try to integrate it into the typographical design.

Logo design is about representing appropriately the company, but it's also about making that representation look good. And that means that the designer should try all possible combinations, and ideas, no matter how crazy they may seem at first.

    Hope that helps !
