    Moved to work in progress.

Honestly I'm not really partial to either one of them.
the one on the left I'm just not liking the wraped text and the downward arrow doesn't relay "high performance". Also the text "team HPC isn't centered. the left side hangs down further than the right.

the one on the right the team HPC doesn't follow the same line as the rest of the text and I'm not really diggin the generic globe and bright colored swirls.

Maybe a little back story might help us with determinaning which actuall works better for your client?

Hi GoldenZ! Thanks for posting your logos.
For the logo on the left, I agree with Coy, an arrow pointing downward symbolizes a loss of productivity, volume, optimization. It looks kind of like a frown. If you're determined to use an arrow, it should most definitely point upward or at least to the right, as in "moving forward". I like the monotone color scheme, and this works well for designs that need to be printed on a budget, but make sure (if you're going to a monotone look) to choose blues that are either from the same family, or choose a pantone blue and use different transparencies. (it could be my screen, but it looks like you're using at least 2 different blues here... and the blue in the arrow doesn't quite match the blue in the square shapes at the bottom, they should either match or contrast/complement each other, not be confusing - i hope that makes sense?)

For the logo on the right, I think I like this one a bit better, probably because of the colors. Red and blue are a good compliment to each other. But, again, if you're printing on a budget, you're up to 4 colors here, and may as well go full process color and give it more depth and detail, or trim down your color choices and make it simpler. I'm not really sure what the icon means, though. It doesn't say "computing" to me.

Overall, I'm not a huge fan of wrapped text, but don't hate it. For high performance computing, I would go with a look that is more techy, performance driven, rather than just create a logo that looks nice, create one that is meaningful. To me, the logo on the left would work better for a packaging/fulfillment company and the logo on the right would work better for a global networking type of company - based solely on the icons.

Hope I've helped, and best of luck with the design! I'd love to see your revisions, if any!

you're totally right, none of them explaining the computing and high performance, I may re-design the logo again, and put it for review. I'm not happy for both of them, but its really hard to design such a logo like that lol.

    Thanks alot for your review.

I personally felt weird reading the text that is wrapped underneath the globe on the right logo. On the word HIGH especially, at times I felt my eyes were playing tricks with me and I was reading HGIH instead.

However the graphic type logo with the blue and red bit somewhat reminds me of a CD which relates me to computing but the colors come off somewhat too strong. I was more drawn to the whirl than to read what the type was saying.

While the color on the left logo looks more soothing, as coy and brady had already mentioned, the down arrow does brings a differnt type of message than "high performance"
I do love the bolding blue "team HPC" type across it though, It gives it a strong solid feel

you might be able to draw something from my input cheers!

The left one. Reads easy and looks clear... The right one on the other hand is just some generic mess.
Extend the arrow and bend it back and up so it will be looking like 1 atop of 0. Hmm and tell-tale signs of high performance computing ... hmmm ... except noise and big casings? ... hmm ... CABLES! Big, fat, colourful cables. Make the arrow as if it was made from cables.

    Cheers :P

I would say the left one..cause the right one is hard to read,i like what you did with the colours in the left one,but you should add something like a monitor,or something like that.
    bye
