Sattelite Dish Website - review

I'm Designing a website for a Sattelite Dish Company, I would like to know your review about the colors and the layout, the content is not yet completed. But i feel like there is something missing...

still looking at it but on first view... there is the phrase for them making "costume" antennas... I think that should be 'custom', right? or am I be too critical at this stage?

also, who is the target audience? do they have substantial customer base right now? if so...may be having a testimonials page with quotes on reliability, service and quality? if they are global- shouldn't the web site have a 'global' feel?

sorry - if im missing the point... but is only one page to go from right... i do like the clean, easy to read look about it.

Hi Amr,
I really like your color choice, and the graphics are clean and simple. I really don't know much about web design, but from a visual standpoint, the part that I feel needs some help is the script font is a little difficult to read, and takes away from the professionalism a bit.

Hey GoldenZ,
I feel I like the overall feeling ... perhaps I'd just add a couple of pixels more to the top of the logo and to the right of the text. Also justifying the text a little better could be a good idea for a more balanced looking ...

The content isn't reviewed yet, so I believe when the site layout finished there will be a spelling/grammar checking for any typos The Target audience will be the merchants and the resellers, and a few people who got the chance to hook up with the online website, however most of the websites who sells things like that in my country don't bother looking at info's probably some pictures lol

howdy howdy =) happy to see you here again.. however I’m myself didn’t love the font size and the look at the FrontPage, I removed some pictures from the paragraph and kept one at the button maybe its better like that.

it feels comfortable when i see 2 elite designer viewing my work and giving their feedback xD I took your advice and I did justifying the text on the paragraph (Thanks!)

Here some minor siggestions ... by the way, it would be nice if the 3 colored rectangles on the right-top were some kind of links to "About Us", "Contact Us", "Site Map" or something.

You state "something is missing" .. what about a mascot? ... Have you think about it?

i really like the overall design , however like you said its missing something to liven it up.
the website looks cool , but it doesn't feel lively try adding some animation by moving the buildings on the background.
and one more observation if a may. the building illustrations look great if you created them your self then great job however don't you think that mixing illustrations with images kinda ruin the illustrations ?
and lose the watermark over the buildings its doing nothing but overloading the site.

I like the overall look of everything. I think its well done. However, I would have to agree with GDesign on this one. The watermark seems a bit distracting, and the satellite dishes should have the same illustrative quality as the buildings. Something you also may want to try is making the background buildings darker, almost black. They seem a bit light to me. It may look better to have more of a contrast with the the light gray background.

thanks for your comments, I really like the mascot such a great idea xD but what is related to a satelitte dish, probebly it would work to be a part of the logo? Honestly I donno lol,

About the 3 colors at the top would be a amazing if i used sitemap.. contact us .etc..) specially if the are animated with flash, thanks for the fresh idea's.

i'll keep all this in mind, when the client requested an update.

appreciate your comment, however i re arranged the layers to show the watermark on the back of the top and the building, sounds like it was covering the overall all design, About the animation I’m not sure it’s the right choice for me, however focusing in the word "paraclips" will cover the animation part, thanks again for your valuable feedback

good to see you, for the illustrator satellite dish, I don’t think the client will like that. So placing his original dish would keep him satisfied lol (clients ...)


About the dark background on the top, do you think this will work? I believe you start with a light background till you go down to dark, as a gradient.. i donno but i felt comfortable starting with light colors till we go down on page for more dark color. Anyway thanks for your comment, appreciate it
