Here's the thing:
I made a desktop wallpaper featuring the dc logo, and I don't consider it finalized yet. I don't know what it's missing, but the piece is not finished.
So, I'll try to make it an interactive collaborative work:
I will provide the .psd file, and whoever wants to, can download and edit it, and then post the result here. And you can also post the .psd file, so that anybody can download the file and edit it further. And so on...
What do you think ?

interesting thought. I wonder how this will pan out.
maybe post the psd on mediafire, this way anyone can grab it and play around.Be sure and check out all the great designs in the Community Contests!

Here is the file, in a zip archive.
I saved it with Photoshop CS4, so if you have any problems opening the file in earlier versions, say so. Although I don't think there will be any problems. There are no text layers, so no fonts are needed.

it sort of hurts my eyes every time I see when the proportions of the DC logo are not respected...

That's why I said it's not finished yet. You can download the file and edit it. All the layers are there.

Here is the new version of the wallpaper. It's an abstract bird, in flight. I added the left wing, I changed some colors, and added some lighting effects to illustrate the idea of flight.
