ooh! I really like the retro feel of this! I really really like this design!
Thanks!
I learned it at school but only one that is useful to know is the serif and kerning.
I LOVE it!
mainly cause im a fan of typography xD
I would so buy that =)
Hi there, i like your poster very much, its nice & stylish
and i have some thoughts about overall composition:

@solidcreature - Thanks! and thanks for the layout suggestion, but it feels a little disjointed.
@Rockula - well now you can buy one ;P they're now fore sale over at zazzle!. Here's the link: Type Anatomy Poster from Zazzle.com
good work & very educational. this one should be on every designers wall...
thmbs up...
I like the first one better. I think you could also make a label for "leading" and tighten up your own just a bit.
Just one little thought from me,
I think the type is a little close to the edges of the poster.
But very cool poster and I learnt new things from it!
hey, that's a pretty neat concept!
hey all just thought I'd mention that this poster was listed in abduzeedo's daily inspiration #514. you can see it here if you scroll down like a quarter of the page![]()
I think this is great! I really like the color combination and type face. I think it works pretty cohesively! Nice work!
Really useful poster.
Easy to follow, and very easy to remember the elements.
I wonder how it would look on a t-shirt...
The second one. But, what about replacing yellow with black and and text in white?
I like the way the yellow background catches the attention.
Maybe you can try distancing the main text from the parts of the letters. It may look more organized.![]()
That's sweet. Needs the smiley face, and "Have a Nice Day" on there somewhere. -R!
nice work the anatomy is very clearly labeled, reminds me of an elementary school spelling vocab test.
Nice one! I like the idea, but maybe you need to change the visuals a bit, like a gradient background...
