  • Hello, this is just a first draft. I would appreciate your feedback in order to continue. If you purchased stock photos for this banner could you post them? Thankyou

      |--| Hello again, thankyou for the feedback. Do you know the name of the fonts used in the site-I havn't had success so far. It's identity is usually in the css file. Thankyou

      |--| Just to notify you that the photos I am using are my own, so you won't have copyright problems.

  • I like the colors. It's a bit hard to read and 'Benyt prøvetilbud' should be a button. Also, Im not sure the fonts / forms are exactly the same as the ones used on the site?
  • What is the size of your banner in pixels? Can you name the font you have used in your previous banner ad?
    • See one of the other comments

  • Hi I uploaded #10 and #11. Actually #11 is the same but made as a mockup on your website and with the "Create trial account" button made the same pink as the button "Tilbud og Priser" lower on the page. Feedback would be great! Andrei
  • I like the picture style / colors and the way you have structured / presented the text on the screen. It is a little hard to read the text though and I would like to use the font already used.
    • Thank you for your response. I have submitted an updated version #9 with larger text that is hopefully easier to read. It is using the same font as the website.

  • Please try to simplify and maybe use a picture that says more about our business / proofreading than the balloon. I like your entry..
  • Better with the button now. Here are some comments / suggested improvements: 1) Try to write the titel on the picture without the green background - use the same fonts / size as we use on the existing banner (don't know the name of the font, but you can find out using one of these tools: http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2008/12/7-free-tools-to-identify-a-font/ 2) For the circle: make a text break after ..1 krone, so the next line says 'fÃ¥r du..' 3) Consider placing 'Du sparer 1.343 kr.*' more central - maybe just below the titel and place the text '*Normalprisen..' somewhere less central (it is just an explanation of the main message about the saving. 4) Don't use shadows on the button. Make it look exactly the same as the buttons on the left side of the menu.

      |--| Hello-it seems I am limited on the number of drafts-I have to check the regulations. I found the css file of your site and the font is Arial rounded Bold.

  • Great idea with the document in the background. Placement of titel is fine, but try to look at the existing banner ad to get inspiration of the layout / style. Like the round element with the offer. Maybe try to simplify by using only one text color in this. Benyt prøvetilbud button is placed a bit awkward, should probably be the final element you read. The text with 'Du sparer..*' and '*normalprisen' are connected and should also be so in the ad.
  • Fun idea with the krone in the background and easy to read text. But there are many separate elements in the ad - try to consolidate and simplify
  • I love your concept with the picture - a really good idea. I think the text layout needs simplification. Take a look at #10 for inspiration.
    • sander1 please discontinue asking designers to refer to other entries, whether it's to copy certain elements or seek inspiration. This is against the terms set out here at DesignContest. Any entries that remotely look similar will be removed and I will have to bring this issue to attention. Thank you

    • HappyGD, Im not suggesting anyone to copy designs and I have a hard time understanding how it should be against the terms to refer for entries for inspiration. My rating and feedback already indicate, which entries I like and what I like about them. I will ask DesignContest for advice and follow their instructions. I'm sorry if I have broken the rules!

    • It's ok. Sorry I didn't mean for my comment to sound harsh. Copying is an ongoing problem and we do our best to minimize it. It doesn't help when contest holders ask to refer to other designs for inspiration because some designers think that gives them permission to copy other people's work. Legitimate designers work hard to provide their own unique solutions to the problem you provide in the brief. Integrity is lost when ideas/concepts are taken from others. But thank you for your co-operation; I hope you find a good design!

    • No problem, I completely understand the dilemma and would never choose a copy-design. When I experienced this in previous contest, I simply eliminated the entries. Anyway: I will not refer to other entries in the future :-)

  • I there is an outline, I think it should be grey - similar to the other elements. But I am not sure what look is the best: with or without outline. What is your recommendation?
  • Hi Aandrei, I had a look again and you don't need to make another version. I like it as it is! :-) To announce you as the winner I just need you to make a final version with round corners + a picture like #11, where I can see how it will look on the site.
    • Hi Sander Thanks for liking my banner. Before seeing you post regarding picking this one, I just finished some more versions. You might like another one... Since i already made them i am uploading for you to see. #17 is the same but with the mouse cable more visible, while #18, #19 and #20 are another approaches. I can have any of these done with rounded corners (on white banners the rounded corners won't show up on the website. I can also make any as a mockup for you to see on the page, just let me know what you decide. Also, i did them as 500x 460 px in size, but i am not sure this is correct. You should also know that this site's rule states that after picking a winner there are 7 more days you can ask for changes and tweaks from the winning designer. Regarding HappyGD, he is also a moderator on the website and he just did his job, i hope everybody is OK and no hard feeling are/were taken. Waiting for your call.. Andrei

    • Hi again I made #21, which is 10 with rounded corners placed on the screenshot of your website. As a piece of advice, i'd goo without border and with square edges (they don't actually show up, and i think it looks cleaner on the website, however it is your call finally). I will go now i have to be somewhere for the next 2-4 hours, but i will be back later to finish this up if the case. I am GMT+2 time zone btw. Regards Andrei

  • This is really good. Layout of text is perfect and you created the look and feel I am aiming for. The only comment I have is related to the picture - it has little connection to proofreading!
    • Hi Thanks for the feedback and rating. I avoided using a picture that would fill the whole banner space so i have a clean, "aired" look. Actually the picture is a mouse (that wants to suggest the online/cloud part of your business) and its cord which is in shape of a "OK" check-mark (suggesting a successful/finished proofing). I will do another banner with another picture and upload later today. Regards Andrei

    • OK, now I see the check-mark! Really like the clean, aired look, so please don't change that when you do a version with another picture. BTW be assured that I will eliminate any entry that copies your design / original ideas.
