Project description

I recently held a logo design contest on here and was very pleased with the results (http://www.designcontest.com/logo-design/project-solutions-inc/brief/). I'd now like to have a great business card layout to use the logo on. Notes: - I like double sided, but with room on the back to allow for writing/notes. I was thinking of having the logo 'watermark' on the back (see files) - My tag line is 'consider it done...' I'd like to see that on the card somewhere (but not a requirement) - I will likely print with a matte finish on colored stock. Light gray or earthtone - I want something unique and memorable, but not flashy - I'm open to either layout (portrait or landscape) - Unfortunately, my URL and email address will be on the long side. They will likely be www.projectsolutionsinc.xxx and xxxxxx@projectsolutionsinc.xxx. The length may create some layout issues so I'm putting it out there up front. - I'd like to have my name, title and phone # on the card. Steve Kaylor - President 123.456.7890

  • Dear Ch, please check out my first entry #8 in your contest, and feel free for any revisions. Regards Salman khan
  • Hello! I have submitted #7 for your review. I think this is a clean yet memorable business card design, and would love to hear your thoughts/changes you might like made. Thanks!
  • I like this layout better than #4, however, can you make the logo slightly larger to take up a little morre space? Also, in my brief the 'xxx.xxx.xxxx' was intended for the phone number. You can remove that from the layout after 'president'.

      |--| hi ch, thanks for the feedback and ratings.. i uploaded the update design #5 hope you will like it.. thanks.. Kind regards, Kevin Q.

  • Clean lines. Very nice. My only 'negative' feedback is that there is bit of 'white space'. Not necessary bad; just something that I noticed. Please see the updated Brief page of items that I would like to add.
  • About #29, #30 and #31 Here are three more options for you to reconsider. Also, I can agree with badmauuro about readability of your business card. I believe 7 pts fonts would be acceptable minimum.
  • Thank you for the feedback. Please have a look at #26 and #27 and let me know if these are more appropriate, or if you need additional changes.
  • Thanks for your entry, however it is not to my liking. I think the amount of black overpowers the card. Also, for 'notes' on the back, I was more referring to empty space to jot a note down; not so much a lined space.
    • Hi kylorsan, Thanks for your time and for the constructive feedback. Please, take a look at my second entrance #25 and let me know what are you thinking about this new design. Please, take in consideration the readability of your business card, the size of the font ... If someone need glasses or magnifier to read it, will remember your card negatively... in my honest opinion. Have a great day. Marius B.

  • the back and front look too similar. Maybe try the 'linear' layout on the back and cheat it towards the top or bottom
  • the front view is a little too plain
  • I like this, however I'd iike to see it with the logo a little larger on the front. Also, what about using the 'linear' layout on the back (versus the 'stacked' on the front) to mix it up a bit.
  • Thanks for your entry. It's creative, but I'm not a fan of the large green corner. Also, not the word NOTES on the back either.
  • Thanks for your entry. It's creative, but not for my tastes. A little too 'flashy'.
  • I like this layout, however the font seems very small for the contact info.
    • Dear Ch, please check out my new entry #49, and feel free for any kind of revisions. Regards

  • I like your designs, but I'm having a hard time seeing the subtle differences due to the images that you post. I'm traveling and viewing these on an iPhone at the moment. Is it possible to post bigger pictures?
    • Sure thing. Here is a better view on existing designs: #43, #44, #45, #46 and #47 Regarding subtle differences (#30 & #31), they had different positioning of the watermark on the back side.

  • not a fan of the lines on the back
  • Can I see this with just the logo on the back (versus the logo and project solutions text) in the grey tone?
    • Dear CH Please clear that you means that logo and text which is low opacity u mean to change grey tone or you want logo in right bottom change to grey tone Thanks

    • Hello CH I have submitted #76 Please let me know any feedback Thanks

      |--| Please leave the color logo int he bottom right hand corner as-is. However, please remove the text 'project solutions' (in the low opacity in the center), but leave the graphic that currently to the left of that text.

    • Dear CH, Please check I have submited revision according to requirments #85 Please let me know do u need more corrections Thanks

  • please eliminate the consider it done on the front
    • Hi CH, I uploaded #77 , #78 , #79 , #80 , please let me know if you have anything to change. Thanks.

  • can I see this with 'consider it done' on the back instead of the front? Also, I'd like to see one with 'solutions' on the same line as 'project' (instead of under it) on the back (top or bottom)
    • No problem. New templates #73, #74 and #75 are uploaded for you to review.

  • please add 'consider it done' on the back across the bottom
  • Pretty good, but for some reason it strikes me as a bit too plain
