Project description

I am a real estate agent in Santa Barbara. I am trying to brand myself...so far I have a website, so please use it for inspiration. I am pretty stuck into my name in the Trajan font as a logo with the Santa Barbara Real Estate below it. Though the site is basically black and white, I am a colorful person and Santa Barbara is a colorful place. To describe how I wish a business card would appear, is to describe what clothes I like: "understated, unique and expensive". This is the marketing tool that I hand to every potential new client I meet. I would like it to be simple and effective, but again...represent understated, unique and expensive. I also represent the cities of Carpinteria, Summerland, Montecito, Goleta and Hope Ranch. 6 cities in all are just a few miles apart. And, I usually have to show new buyers property in each of these areas until they know where they want to be. Even then, people flip flop because the cities are just so much a part of eachother and so close in proximity; each offering something different for sure. All that being said, I am not sure if I should list these cities or not somewhere on the card. I also kind of like the idea of embossing or something. Doesn't have to be, just throwing that out there. I am open to different colors of card to print on. Black or charcoal cards are fine, white is fine. Black or charcoal seems the most likely as it matches my website...I guess I am open to ideas, ya know?! Also I am open to different card sizes, as long as they are not too large or too small. Thx!

  • Hello Jake, in #23 design I focused on creating customed logo (JR in the back) for your brand. In front, you can see coastline in perspective.

  • Hi CH, I just upload #22. What do you think? If you'd like to see more I may change the placement of your name on the front card a bi - its higher then I intended. Thanks

  • about #16 this card will be gold silkscreen printed (or silver if you like to keep the black&white theme on the website) over a black (velvet like) thick paper.

  • Okay, cool then :) #12 is #9 with the gradient. Do you prefer horizontal or vertical?

  • No concern for printing cost really

  • I tried to improve the "pop" on #11 by adding a slight gradient. #10 is the same minus the gradient. The problem with #11 is that printing costs could be higher than on #10, because #10 has flat colours while #11 has the gradient.

  • The color is very close. Just thinking out loud, could there be a little bit more contrast or pop...? And, what would the front look like horizontal? so far you're killing it. Thank you!

  • super clean. I like the justified contact info. I think I liked the dots and the city names following the curve of the coast better. Unbold Santa Barbara. I'm not sure about the color...

  • yeah! You, are, on, track! Back: I like the more even spacing of the city dots on the map. Perhaps even distance from the waters edge as well. Thought: Would a charcoalish blue (fav color) work for the water? Front: Logo: remove "agent". Need to include my office address 1170 Coast Village Road, Montecito, Ca 93108 either on front or back Need a Prudential logo somewhere

  • Front: 1. Remove "agent" from logo. 2. Add address 1170 Coast Village Rd, Montecito, Ca 93108 3. Add a Prudential logo somewhere like the one on this page http://www.prudentialcal.com/. It should include the "rock" and "Prudential" or "Prudential California Realty". Back: 1. Love the map! I like even spacing of the city "dots". Maybe totally even distance from the waters edge too. 2. Is this the place to add color? for the water? My favorite blue is a charcoalish blue.

  • About #40, Dear CH, You have to use same imagination for this design, the special of this design is the printing process, the darker black is spot UV as the example of #41, you can feel it shinny and a little emboss and the black background is matt lamination, the "JR" on top of your name is hot stamping silver and your name at the back page is also hot stamping silver, the rest is white color, it will feel very expansive and of course it's expansive to print. Hope you like it. Looking for feedback. Thanks.
