Hey everyone,

I think every designer here knows that logo contests are the most popular kind of contest. And because of that, we see hundreds of difference logos every month. Some are simple while others are really complicated...

I see a lot of designers use different blending modes and opacity settings in their logos. Although it's ok to use them for web, blending and opacity can cause problems for printing when the logo becomes too complex.

Whenever you have time, feel free to read through these two links:
From Adobe's Help Website
From the "For Dummies" Series

They will tell you how to set up your Illustrator files and give you tips on how to avoid printing problems. It wouldn't be fun for the CH to get an awesome logo that doesn't print very well... do them a favor and set up your logos properly :)
