Web hosting has proved to be a boon for websites with small and personalized businesses and also for ecommerce websites. The process involves creating a website, setting it on world wide web and promote it to the search engines as well.

The first step that is to be done for starting a website is to select an original and apt domain name. After that website is being created using various page builders. It could include Macromedia Flash, Microsoft FrontPage and Dreamweaver. So be sure to design your website with search engine optimization factors in your mind. Submit your website to the major search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. to get traffic to your site.

It all depends on your needs, what programming language you are using, etcetera etcetera. Generally Microsoft based servers are more expensive than LINUX based hosts, so that should factor in to your choice as well as the programming language.

Most important factors to consider is the uptime and after sales service, considering most top hosting sites offer the same features (give or take a few features), these two are the most important factors when picking a hosting account IMO. Try to look for reviews before choosing, some hosting companies may offer really cheap deals but you should look at the fine print before signing up =).

I prefer Dreamweaver to design any websites and photoshop to design themes, and try to make div base website which is new and provide best keywords to catch the traffics.
