darthsheep, just a graphic - they know that would be a label, cos there will be variety of tea mixes but they didn't decide what package they will use.

I suggest to them natural paper bags..

I like the label. What works well is the label remains the same and color can change for kind of tea. The design has a very classy look and feel but not too overboard.

I don't like the way it is being shown with that off white background, it isn't showing off your design.

My first response was attraction. I wasn't turned off by anything in the design. Great work from my perspective. I specifically love the color palette.

That is a lot of logo balancing. The name is kind of snoring. The the illustration makes me wonder if it tastes like a leafy-grassy-flowery mix of popuri instead of tea. Sometimes green indicates decaffeinated, or maybe its green tea. I think you should remove the semi circle above the teapot logo. The small sizes and off-white on black are elegant. I don't like the silver, how about bright white or a color indicator (green). The premium mix text could be a point or two bigger. Is the type around the tea pot circle too small to read? Its hard to judge online. Hope that helps.

Hi Zensko, it's been a while since your post, but I'd like to put in my opinion, I think the graphic is nice, kind of artistic, a bit look like batik in Indonesia (a traditional art of graphic in Indonesia, to be used primarily on clothes).
But about the problem that your boss had, there could be some reasons, one that I can think of, perhaps the image that the product is aimed. Like some people here said, it looks classy and even expensive :) That might not be exactly the aim of the product image that your boss wanted, I don't know. Or perhaps it's just because your boss have seen similar art like that on clothes and doesn't feel right with it, well that's just unlucky chance.
Well I think the best way is to figure it out with your boss :)

I like this from Solidcreature. I thought the design was very elegant and nice, but slightly crowded and bit hard to read, especially "Premium Mix." I thought at first a change of text would be best, but actually this sort of spacing helps the readability. One more little thing, the text for "tea time" seems like it doesn't know if it wants to be two words or one. Maybe that's just me, but could maybe be bettered with an adjustment to kerning?

for me the upper half of the bag is too "clean", to steril, and the bottom is too messy. Maybe U should add a small floral near the top, on the corner? It woould close this composition, i suppose..
