You will be seeing a really cool one from Blake soon I think. ;)

Casper

Thanks Casper! :)

Here we go...

PS: It looks somehow like Casper's, but I had posted the skull idea some posts ago. Thanks Casper for the "No Smoking" text and for letting me use it on this entry. I didn't know what text to use, without it the work would not be complete :).

Cheers, I was trying to stay away from the normal, cigarette, or damaging-person image.

I'll tell you anyway! :p

This is the story of this entry...
I originally had the idea of making a sign with a cigarette and smoke coming out from it converting into a skull. I looked for good smoke images to modify but I could not find what I was looking for. When I was giving up, I found this image:
Posted Image

The image is perfect, but if I had represented my original idea it would have been just copying and pasting. So the idea of the gun came to my mind, and when I read "Smoking Kills" I felt it was the perfect line for the design.

Some people may think I did nothing in this entry, but coming to that idea, and finding the perfect images was not so easy.

Anyway, I want to show how this effect may be done in Photoshop...
Let's take your first entry as an example Casper.

The image can't be modified a lot because it won't look real. So a smoke image with a shape similar to a skull is needed, your image is pretty good too. Details are made using the Liquify or/and Smudge Tool (liquify is better, but in certain cases smudging may be needed), some layers in Overlay mode (this is optional), eraser tool and brushing some highlights/shadows.
This way, something like this can be obtained (it was made fastly, but it's just to show that it can be done):

more than showing lots of visuals (like people havent seen enough) I thought like
expressing the outcome and a fact about it rather than visuals. :D

I like this, Nrak. Simple. Clean. Elegant. Have a modern poster feel to it. I just don't know about the silver bullet-sperm thingy. Or is it a silver capsule? I think I would've used a cigarette or some object that I can connect with smoking. Or is it just me...?

Thanks for the comment :). Oh and it's just a basic sperm cell heh, maybe I should remove the shine later. My thinking was that if people saw a poster that had a cigarette, or something close to it, some, if not most would maybe ignore it :D. I'll see if I can make some more.
