to invert colors in Corel Draw
1.First Create your object in Corel DRAW.
2.Fill the object with a color that you will later invert . Use the property panel to select the color you want to fill your shape with.
3. Create another object, it could be text or another shape. If its text make sure you select a color for it and if its another shape, fill it with any color.
4. select the two objects that you have and select the "Pick tool" (the little arrow from the left side panel) and select the two objects. This is "multiple selection" in Corel Draw.

5. in the upper bar, select the option "Effects", and then select "Transform".
6.click on "Invert". Make sure your objects are selected before applying this.
