Don't look bad. Did you edit the letter s g n in design because they look odd and bigger then D e i.

I'd change it all to one type face(hypatia or myraid...NOT both)...and use different weights(reg, bold, light) to add font contrast..:)
The word 'design' looks 'smushed'...I'd adjust size, kerning.....give it some room to breathe")
and the dot above i, maybe make bigger, and purple....:)

Yes. Thanks for your replies. Yeah the letters got smushed in illustrator when I was working on the kerning. Thanks for the good input. I'll post my changes.

wouldn't go for stroke/ outlines. It is bad when you make the logo smaller the outline become thinner and thinner.

Hummm....

I have a different input.

To have a text based logo, which is what you have, you might wanna do a much more unique touch/detail rather than that "tend~to~be~a~normal~"i".

Try to convert the text to outlines and play a bit more with until you reach a unique touch. When you get there you got a good unique text/based logo.

So far, for me, that logo is just text.
thanks

Looks great but don't think the gradient is needed.

So you would go with the purple only?

funny
i was going to suggest using the lines of the E before i saw you most recent image. Try aligning both words flush left. Use the lines in the E to cut through the p as negative space. Try to make a focal point there. The logo looked clean in the beginning but not special enough, now it looks a bit off track, not sure about outline.

Well, I totally went in a different direction with this logo. Tell me what you think. I like the negative space on this a lot.

The best one is your very first on in my opinion. u could of done an image for the dot of the i. Most recent one is too busy and unfinished.

In what aspect of the logo is it too busy? The lines are done to the curvature of the a. There is a lot of negative space on here. Possibly it would be less busy with a different color scheme? There is always room for improvement, but what do you have in mind for this logo.

the lines at bottom make it busy
the shape the a makes is not clean
maybe separate from text
remove bottom lines and center it in the shape
just an idea
