I have a different input.
To have a text based logo, which is what you have, you might wanna do a much more unique touch/detail rather than that "tend~to~be~a~normal~"i".
Try to convert the text to outlines and play a bit more with until you reach a unique touch. When you get there you got a good unique text/based logo.
So far, for me, that logo is just text.

i was going to suggest using the lines of the E before i saw you most recent image. Try aligning both words flush left. Use the lines in the E to cut through the p as negative space. Try to make a focal point there. The logo looked clean in the beginning but not special enough, now it looks a bit off track, not sure about outline.

The best one is your very first on in my opinion. u could of done an image for the dot of the i. Most recent one is too busy and unfinished.
In what aspect of the logo is it too busy? The lines are done to the curvature of the a. There is a lot of negative space on here. Possibly it would be less busy with a different color scheme? There is always room for improvement, but what do you have in mind for this logo.
