The camera's automatic focusing system centralizes the concentration on the closest subject to the camera. If for instance you are picturing a bird on a tree with several branches, the camera's auto focus may focus on the branches closest to the camera, which would make you miss the shot of the bird itself. If you can manually focus your camera you can pinpoint your subject matter and get a better shot in a tricky photography scenes.
To manually focus a camera do the following:
1.Turn on the camera's power switch
2.Find your AF/MF switch on your lens barrel on the front of the camera. Then push the MF setting switch.
3.Peer through your camera's viewfinder on the top, center of the camera and then compose the shot.
4.Put your left hand underside the camera barrel and then rotate the focusing ring left and right until your image displays sharp through your viewfinder.
5.Press your camera’s shutter button on the top right of the camera to record the image.
