This is for a local area band called
Prototype Syndicate
They play Christian Progressive Rock (sounds like Metalica meets Pink Floyd)
The text is just filler until I get all they want to say on the back.
I also made them a logo its on the back cover (the hand with keyhole) plus I used the logo for cover concept.
any thoughts?
Questions?

Hey man I think that looks real good, I'm really feelin' the image of the hand, keyhole, and light coming through it.
I think my only suggestion is on the actual logo maybe, Make it more jagged, rugged hand. I'm tryin' to think there is like a wet suit company for surfers that has a hand logo... I can't think of the name of it but it's fairly popular, somethin' up that alley. That's of course unless that logo is in stone.

Very nice front cover, Lucidic, I can imagine going into a record shop, browse around and see this cd on the shelf, I pick it from the rack thinking "um.. nice dark surrealism style design", I would guess I am holding a CD of a Gothic band or heavy metal band, "strong one point perspective composition", I then turn the cd case over expecting to read infromation about the album/single, I see the same background, same font size/colour for the name and album title, and the perspective composition is so strong it makes me wonder "is this the front cover or is it the other side?". Then I see an icon of a hand with a key whole in it's middle, looks to me that it is taken from the concept "hand rising from underground", which was used in the first place to represent "Alive Again"? I don't see the point of representing something that represents something else, unless the symbol imply something else arbitrarily?
EDIT:
Sorry, I didn't read your post carefully. i c , the hand with keywhole is a logo for the band... but why isn't it in the front cover if it represents the band?

It is in the front but in real form not line art
maybe I will put it on from too.
but the back is not near done, in fact I have to make a 6 panel fold out design for it.
This is a prototype (no pun intended)
i am thinking about making the back have a man walking towards the window kind of far off like he got out of the dirt and walked away maybe a hole in the ground too
thanks for your thoughts!
