I thought that ill start a thread that has no relation to design or coding, instead relating to gaming / game consoles. I want to do what u think the best console is out of the main three... this is going by what is out in australia so it is probably behind what everyone else has lol.
I personally have a xbox and i enjoy it very much, as it was an upgrade from the nintendo 64..
which is best?????????
make the choice!

PS2, probably.
Pretty much anything you can get for the Xbox you can get for the PC, and that is where I do most of my gaming. The PS2 at least has games like Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy and some other unique titles. I probably play the gamecube most though because my friend keeps his over here. So, we play Mariokart Double Dash and some football games, etc..

Although I think graphic wise PS2 fails in comparison to XBox and Gamecube, PS2 has just a better varitey and cooler games. If XBox didn't have their stupid stengy licenses and want to control every company they come across they would probably do better. But hey... that's Billy G. for ya! My choice was PS2 but nothing compares to the PC... PCs are sexy when it comes to gaming

:/ wheres the option for the Atari ST? oh well
i voted ps2, probably because thats what i have access to, and i believe they have a whole stash more games than either of the others. been playing THUG a lot on ps2 lately, but just got need for speed underground so think that'll change now.
i play games more on my pc than any console though, canny beat a good old thrash out with your friends on a first person shooter.

N64 kick ass for its generation nintendo games have a certain style and great gameplay that couldn't be matched by the ps who played goldeneye and super mario 64, u know what I mean.
Currently though PS2 has the edge for gaming beacuse of the software.

N64 sucked, it had like a handfull of good games. PS owned it.
As far as ps2 goes I've had two break on me. One doesn't play ps2 games, the other doesn't play ps games(so really i have one but literally 2). Also I've heard from a number of people their horror stories of ps2. I just don't find it to be the same quality as sony's other electronics.
