Hi Jen -

I'm surprised that no one had offered any feedback from this post yet. I'm sorry that I missed it when you'd initially posted it.

Personally, I think that you've got a great design style, and certainly have talent. I was very impressed with alot of your portfolio pieces in all categories. I wasn't too impressed with the style of your actual website, as I think that you've done much more impressive work with the website design samples that are provided in your portfolio, but that comes down to just my own personal taste.

All in all, I think you've got excellent skills, and i'm looking forward to seeing more of your designs :)

Brilliant, nothing bad to say except maybe a background colour or image on the main content area would be nice ;)

Nice work indeed. Where in Southern Ontario? I'm in Kitchener. :)

I would make your "enter here" esier to see, or just allow clicking on the logo of your mainscreen to take the visitor in.

Yeh i think its looks quite cool. the animation is a bit slow though. Maybe boost the Frames per second up a little. I find people get very bored of slow animation that they have to wait for. Very nice work though in the portfolio.

Maybe you could help me with some tutorials im creating ;) www.rtcproductions.2ya.com

Ive posted a bit on my site if you want to take a look. Keep up the good work

I personnaly think you have some great stuff. Your logos are great, so is your print work. Very nicely done.

As far as your site is considered, I think you are on a good track. But, in my own opinion, there's still some work to do.

I like the colors you have chosen. The combination of greys work great. That orange fits also well in your color scheme. The thing that bothers me is that this orange seems to be somehow vibrating on that grey, which makes it hard to read. Maybe try to put it on white, as you did on your inside pages. And the enter button is too small for my eyes. It seems like it is eaten by the white in the background.

For the inside, I think you have done a great job of separating the information. As RussellClow stated above, the transition in the opening animation is not fast enough. And you may want to give other sections a transition as well because they are now appearing without any fading or moving... Try spicing it up a little bit.

But overall a great site and layout with a lot of potential !

Hope this helps !

I think it is hard to read a lot of the text and something about it was hard on my eyes but maybe just me

I think it is not to the level it can be I mean.... there is nothing special about it. or different. it does have a nice retro kind of look to what you do have but nothing says " HEY I AM HERE AND I AM COOL"

I can tell you are talented from your exampl works though so you will get it
maybe a subtle flash animation on your logo ? might help

I agree with a lot of what Jenn had to say. Your site transitions in flash seem a bit slow to me, but the concept behind what you are doing is solid.

One personal view I have on portfolio sites is that it is your chance to show off the kind of work you are capable outside of the realm of your normal day-to-day clients. Being more experimental, while still presenting your work in a manner in which potential customers would still be willing to pursue a working relationship.

Just some thoughts, but the overall concept you have going is moving in a solid direction.
