I had luck doing that. I had a nice design made for me by karl472001 for hosting. So you may try that too.

I would guess 500mb+ and 5-10GB bandwidth a month+

If you are looking for a really nice design with flash and all I would give quite a bit out. ;(

I would. Make sure you say a timelimit. And some details would be nice too. SUch as uptime, mysql databases, etc. I am sure they will be like most contests but make sure you make it clear. I don't want you to say you have 50 percent uptime. Hehe. Not saying I will win or you will say that though. ;)

Just curious why you guys would want so much space and bandwidth? An average site uses not more than 20-30 Mbs of space and 1 Gb of bandwidth. 20-40 Gbs bandwidth a month would be a VERY popular forum with like 2000 users dropping by each day. Most sites are so small that it makes no sense getting too much if it's not gonna be used anyway. Well, if you don't pay for it, but get it in exchange for design, then maybe it makes sense, but paying for the spane/bandwidth you won't use is plain stupid. Hope none of you do that :)

ya... when i bought shared hosting.. i usally bought to much.. i bought like 2 gb sapce and 60 gb bandwidth... and usally would never use over 500mb spaxe and 30 gb bw... :S ya but most sites only use 100mb space MAX and couple gb bw....... but people just like to have t lots.. so they can feel big a power ful... lol

It's called overselling and you know it. But I won't go on with this, everybody gets what they pay for. Peace with you. :)

Sure, no problem.

You see, you have to have somewhere to host the image, you can't directly upload on this forum...

Personally, for a lot images I, I put them up on www.dannywartnaby.co.uk/rgt

but they have two servers and are having sync errors right now, but I am willing to temporary host for you (though the server was down for a day (sorry basicconcept, but its working now!)

then here, see the IMG button up above the text box? click on it, and enter the entire location name of the file. Correct case and everything. Make sure you have the extension as well. Click "Ok" and it will add in the tags for you (you can do it without the button though.

Then post that sucker! :D
BAM! I'm here, are you?

It appears as though the new forum has an attach file at the bottom... this eliminates the need for the temp hosting! (unless you picture is REALLY big)
BAM! I'm here, are you?
