from Charlie Kaufman:
Adaptation
Being John Malkovich
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (possibly the best movie ever)
from David Fincher:
Se7en
Fight Club
from Wes Anderson:
Rushmore
The Royal Tenenbaums
from Guy Ritchie:
Snatch
Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels
from other people:
Donnie Darko
American Beauty
O Brother Where Art Thou (my Coen Bros. pick, could have also gone for Lebowski)
L.A. Confidential (big Film Noir fan)
Sigh, that's all I can get off of the top of my head, I'm sure I'm missing some of my enormously favorite movies but I just like too many!

Sigh, where to even begin...
The Royal Tenenbaums
Sorry but that has to be the worst movie I've ever tried to sit through at a movie theater.. I felt like I was 60 watching it.
My pics:
1) Lord of the Rings
2) Memento
3) Shawshank Redemption

I guess some just don't appreciate subtlely nuanced humor. Ah well. Memento should have made my list, as well as Pi and Requiem for a Dream.

- League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
- Contact (Carl Sagan)
- The Cube (I am not going to say I love this movie because I really hated it. It represents all that is wrong in this world. The labyrinth of the mind explored in detail and in a very crude way. And the death of all that is important in the hands of fear and his general "paranoia". If you can't see why fear is the first enemy of man, take a look at this piece at your own responsability, but not if you are in some sort of crisis !!! I still feel the effects I think the director wanted to express: A bad taste in the mouth and a deaf silence in the mind. If you are a sensitive person DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE. "Only the blinds crush themselves with the wall of corruption").
---------------
Some are for the Head, some are for the Soul, some are for the eyes but I like them all.

I saw "Equilibrium" early today. What a movie !!! Recomended to all that seek the best in the market. It's "Big Brother" meets "Matrix". Excelent argument, great displayment of a perfect story with no weak points.
Also saw "Jibeuro", here called "Camino a Casa" (Road Home) that is a corean movie everybody has to check to know if you feel something inside.
For me they are the perfect combination for a cool weekend. I recomend you to check on them. You won't regret it. And if you do well, not everybody hast to feel, it's just a choice, he he.
Well, see ya on the next post.
Peace,
