Maxson has not received his t-shirt for the first Silly Chat yet and he has already won another one. Well, just in case he doesn't need a second t-shirt he can choose a runner up in the contest to have his tshirt

the poll system is not completely finished, the DC programmer is at the hospital with appendicitis. Though it is not a big deal, he will be back in a couple of days. I will post an announcement when we'll start voting on Community Contests.I thought there will be a voting, to make it more interesting. Anywho, it was a fun contest, and I always wanted to make my own google logo! Respect to all who had participaited.

This contest reminded me a lot of the Doodle4Google competition for gradeschoolers through highschoolers... (which I entered last year and lost horribly X_X). Anyways sweeet contest I'll have to enter one of these soon....

yeah, it would have been fun, but for some reason the contest was unnoticed while it was open. So keep an eye on currently open community contests, maybe you'll find something you'd want to enter. What a cool contest. I have always wanted to do a Google design. It would have been fun to see more entries.

Maybe you could find a way to promote the high profile contests. On the homepage, perhaps? Or a link to a page of them... Or a mark next to them...

We're very excited this year to be partnering with the Smithsonian's, Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Since Cooper-Hewitt is focused on design and education and fostering the brightest design minds of tomorrow, they were a natural partner for Doodle 4 Google. Their partnership also means that this year's prizes not only include having your artwork on the Google homepage for a day, a college scholarship, and a technology grant for your school, but also having your work (and that of all 40 finalists) exhibited at a Smithsonian museum!
