I am looking into having a Flash layout made for my online game, and I don't want to set up a contest until I'm sure exactly how much a good one would be worth.

The site is phantom-quest.com. Sign up and log in, and I want a flash layout in an upside down U Shape around the main area.
So, something like this:
**********Top of Page**********

Side Bar*****************Side Bar

I'd like to stick to the colors I have now, and if possible (I'm not familiar with Flash), I'd still like to be able to use PHP to deicde whether some of the links on the left side bar would appear (Some only appear under certain conditions), or whether the chat would show up on the right side bar.

As for the specifics of the layout, I'd like something creative, but nothing to square. I'd like it to have rounded edges and whatnot, not too clean cut, but neat at the same time.

If you're interested, and you think you know what I'm looking for, let me know roughly how much a project like that would be worth, and if at all possible, set up a rough sketch so that I can verify that we're on the same page as to how I'd like it to look.

well from the perspective of a 'designer,' I would say:

not to use pre-fab brushes in photoshop such as 'the leaf brush.'

not to make your menu navigation too small because its not quite user friendly (easy to use)

not to make a landscape in bryce and import it into a website because it is very overrated and also noticeable that you infact used bryce, a very easy program to render any old landscape w/o much time

not to use poor textures especially in effortless programs like bryce the center of your webpage seems to be that pyramid which hence the glow has a considerable amount of darkness defying physics and all natural perspective

basically you should consider designing w/: www.pixelbobby.com
