I'm faily new to flash and I've been working on this thing where when it gets to a scene it stops.

Then when I click a mouse button I want it to play again from where it left off.

I've searched through many tutorial sites and I've tried my hand at Flash's help file but it gives me the

"**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=n, frame=55:Line 3: Clip events are permitted only for movie clip instances"

I just want to be able to continue playing once I click anywhere on the screen.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking about adding a tutorials section to my site for SEO reasons mainly....but anyway this would make a good flash tutorial. :ph34r:

what you need to do is put a frame in the last frame of your scene that says stop();

then a big invisable button that says on(release) goto "scene2, 1"

something like that....
