Hey everybody,
One of my friends gave me a link to this universal messenger called Zango and apparently you can chat with members of MSN, AIM, YAHOO and ICQ through this one software. I wanted to ask if anybody has any experience with this kind of messenger and if it's worth it to install and use.
Thanks!

I've not tried the Zango before, but I've used Trillian (http://www.trillian.cc) for quite some time now, and it's pretty decent. So you may want to check that one out, too.

I use Trillian since 2002 and besides some minor features, you have all of the main Messengers plus some really nice add-ons. Using it is easier to track your clients from differents Messenger systems in just one window.

I use Trillian .. I've had it for quite awhile ... It helps me keep track of clients and possible clients across AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ and IRC .... Great program.

I only use ICQ and AIM to message people, unless necessary to use another program. And with ICQ I can talk to people on AIM, so it's all good. ICQ is great, and very underrated. Besides that, I've heard many people raving about how great Trillian is.. Maybe I should give it a try.

I got icq onetime and i didnt really like it because it made to many weird noises and you cant press the enter key to send each message, you haveto move your mouse and click the send button which i think is a big hassle.

You can hit Tab > Enter. But I still like ICQ because of the number system rather than a screenname, or tag handle. You are assigned a combination of numbers which helps prevent spammers, etc. from getting your number. Unlike AIM, where, for example, screenname 'Football' would be bombarded with advertisements. I get used to it, and so do most people. :p

So far, out of the five universal messengers that I've tried, Trillian 3.1 seems to be the best of the lot. The only thing that bugs me is that I can't view other people's cams and audio chat doesn't seem to work! Other than that, it's pretty cool, especially if you have several mail accounts. Hopefully, all these bugs will be fixed once the beta stage is through. :)

Check these out also : MECA, Instan-t, Imvite, Easy Message, EyeBall Chat.
