Well these are the business cards I produced for my design company. They include the DesignIsRuin angel logo, combined with a stylised grunge/ rock look, plus a time associated concept on the front of the cards. Trying to promote a more stylised rock image, instead of a standard bland corporate affair, as my designs are predominantly orientated/ influenced by rock/ metal culture in particular dealing with cover artwork and merchandise for bands.

Posted Image

I won't tell you all why the clock faces are there or what they represent, as that's a secret only I will ever know, but rest assured they have meaning :)

They are also produced in 5 different colours so clients can pick and choose which colour they would prefer. Gimmicky I know :D

*As this is only for fun I didn't think it mattered that these hadn't been specifically produced for this contest. Just thought I'd share them with everyone! :) *

Wow, artistsneverdie, that design is simply beautiful. Although I imagine alot of ink must be wasted printing those cards :D. I'm going to make a more simplistic approach.

Wow, artistsneverdie, that is indeed beautiful as stated previously by azurous.

I hope that entry doesn't scare others away, I am sure there is an army of entrants just waiting in the wings.

As sponsor of this contest I'd like to encourage you all to meet the challenge and participate. Glad to sponsor something so cool, I certainly wouldn't want to be attached to anything boring :) If you guys have any questions for me feel free to ping me via e-mail at the address supplied in the original message.

I'll be watching and hope to be impressed again - great start and good luck all!

Thank you everyone for your great comments :D

Once I have enough spare change I plan on getting a foil block special finish applied to the angel logo on the cards, and then scratching the foilblock with a compass/ brillo pad among other daft ideas...

As for ink wastage, the printer I use prints full colour business cards from CMYK format (no pantone or spot colours) in the spare space on large print runs, so you can get double sided matt-laminate bus-cards stupidly cheap!

Newbie here... hi all!

This business card is printed on magnets... those floppy bendible magnets (no idea what you call them ;) ).

The card is nearly the same as the website: Cold Coffee

iDesigner: Nice colors and that background is great. Now if you could find card stock that was embossed with that pattern then print on it that would be awesome.

Everybody is rocking in this contest, still proud to be sponsor!

IDesigner: that's a nice BG pattern you use there! The only thing is, if this would be an actual printed card, the small script fonts on the bottom would be simply unreadable at that size.
