Hey,
Since I'm off for the Summer I wanted to spend my time well. I've already posted a similar topic of this, but relating to Flash (which I'm currently TRYING to learn). Anyways, I'm really fermiliar with Photoshop but that program only goes SO far. I wanted to learn how to vector and effectively create logos in Illustrator. I'd also like to learn the tools and what they are all meant for :S Just wondering if any of you guys out there could lend me a hand and throw some links out
I appreciate it and thanks in advance!
Kyle

Yeah I know you can google but this is a designer community and I'm sure some people have tutorials much better than others, and up to date and what not. When you search google it usually gives you tutorials on old versions of Illustrator and tutorials not related to what I want.

Good illustrator tutorials are very limited on the web, most people focus on flash or photoshop. I recommend diving right into illustrator and playing with all the tools - that is the best way to learn what stuff does.
Adobe also includes great help files with their programs, so if you try and do something but don't know how.. search the included help.

I don't what kind of resources or time you have, but if you are looking for illustrator help, you might want to look into taking a class.
This is not an add, but I worked for New Horizons Computer Learning Center for 3 years teaching graphics classes. The classes are normally one day and are very in depth and give you a good handle on the ins and outs of the program.
