here's my try:

what makes the main character so deep is that he genuinely believes by killing someone he feels is misusing power/fortune, he is doing society a favor. it really is a book that explores the psychological nature of humans.

I think the works of spartan ans seawise are very good. I think spartan works is great, good concept and good graphic but I could be better, it´s just a thing of composition. I really like the work of seawise cause it looks a little bit more comtemporary, it´s clean, and has a great concept. it´s not too revealing but has a concept, it´s not just the face or body in the dark like most covers of the novel that has already been done. I really would like to see the image and the typo more related, maybe by proximity, not by changing the font, the font looks great.

Seawise your cover reminded me immediately of something and I couldn't figure out what, then i realized it was the game "Black & White" lol

Love that feeling when you finally figure something out. The opposite can be very annoying...

Just a question before I start work (This is going to be my first attempt at a compitition)

Can we use photos from other sources (eg from deviant art) as the basis for the work? Obviously modifiyed, but when it says 100% original does it mean we have to take the photo ourselves?

I found a photo that would be perfect for my interretation of the book but I can't get in contact with the photographer, Obviously I wouldnt use it if it were anything but a 'fun' contest. Thanks in advance :)

well, I don't see why you can't use pictures if you have the photographer's permission.

Thats for the responce resurepus, but it doesnt look like I can get in touch with the photographer, which means I've either gotta take my own (my mate has my camera atm) or wait for the next contest, good luck everyone else!
