here are some very creative little animations I found some time ago. they are not related in any way, but inspiring in very different ways.
(the films take several minutes each,... perfect for a coffee break :).)

"For Sock's Sake" (a funny student graduation film... about a sock (stopmotion + 3D animation))
YouTube - For Sock's Sake_by_Carlo_Vogele

"Ex E.T." (purple child causes trouble on an alien planet (3D animation))
YouTube - EX - E.T.

"Balance" (symbolic clay stopmotion animation)
YouTube - Classic Short Film (Balance Lauenstein 1989)

"Ten by Ten, Bluebrain" (wonderfully weird music video by Gabe Askew (3D Animation))
Ten by Ten - Bluebrain on Vimeo

hope you enjoy :)!

EX-ET was hilarious. Any idea of what was used to write it. I don't have much experience in 3D modeling but I have a friend who is crazy about Blender3d.
