just make sure the colors in your flat colors section are flat (meaning no gradual shift in colors) and the black & white section does not have gray. If it was turned in like this it would be disqualified.

franseco please take the time to read the rules and make your 10 post requirement before spending the time on a logo for a live contest to post in the forums.

I will say it one more time...you are not allowed to post a design for a contest that is active. once the contest is closed you may post the design. It is not fair to the other designers to post designs for an active contest. If you meet the requirements then you may post a design in that active contest

Thank you for understanding, we do have quite a few rules but...those rules keep everything on the up and up and fair to everyone.
What you can do is make up a logo design for a made up company and post that in a thread to get opinions, or maybe a design you are working on on your own outside of the contest site, members upload work designs all the time

another work taht i made but ok i cant participate yet...
i respected the wish for blue colors, added an apple (a blue one but ok the apple is NY symbol) and on the apple some letters and NY skyline... will be this explanation good enough ?

But that particular client has requested a photo of the New York skyline to be used for the banner portion of the contest. How should it be handled then?
It doesnt matter, this is a logo contest, not a banner contest. CH can pick a winner and work in a banner later. If designers insist in a NYC banner, they will get an infraction.
3 infractions = 6 month ban
