thanks casperamy and resurepus for the props i had that knight in my archive of old files from ...like 6 years ago when i did an avatar for a friend ... it was well made but i was just trying to be creative and help others to get their juices flowing.
the static pic is the real entry but the mall in my area has had video/animated ad stations up inside and outside for quite some time now ... they are even creating rotating billboards in the area to triple their profits ...way cool idea if ya ask me

Wow casperamy, that smoke is pretty impressive (and frightening)! How did you get the smoke to look so good?

I was messing around with my camcorder and got the idea to tape a smoking candle (no it isn't cigarette smoke ). I captured a series of images from the tape and imported them into Flash.
That's it. Once the images are in Flash you can manipulate the colors and stuff. Not too hard really. The hardest part was keeping the candle smoke going while I was taping.
You should give it a try if you have a digital camcorder and Flash. Then again you could probably do it with any good camera and probably any photo editing software. Flash is how I did it, I did so because I wanted the smoke animated.

Haha, that's great casperamy.Okay I am having fun with this one. I created this smoke effect a while back in Flash. Mirroring some of the frames gave some kindof creepy effects!
Check this one out.
Pretty wierd huh? The eyes really freaked me out when I first saw them.

One more entry here, I don't really like the cartoon.

Hey casperamy, I liked your first (and second) piece with the green flame, and I thought you don't even need a symbol in there. For me it would just look good with the flame only and the black rectangle sheared/tilted so its edges are parallel with the italic type. Something like this.
(Hope you don't mind that I played with it...)
