Hi there

my pictures backgrounds is always blurry and just not sharp enough. Can someone tell me how can I take pictures with sharp backgrounds?

The trick to make a sharp background is to is to maximise your depth of field. To do this you need to shoot with a narrow aperture approx. f16 to f22. The f22 is called the “story telling aperture” . Almost all of the scene will be in sharp focus. You have to set the aperture manually, and you can shoot in aperture priority mode and close it up or you can shoot on landscape mode.
