I'm having problems creating a border.

I import an eps which brings the photo in as multiple curves.
I group the curves so they are together under one layer. There is a sub folder that says group 24.
I need to create a 0.5 border around the outside edge of the whole image. Specifically a 1% Cyan outline so that my cutter will recognize and cut the border. Essentially cutting the image as a whole.
With all the curves every time I try to create the 0.5 outline it adds an outline to every curve not just the border of the whole image. Unfortunately the border of the whole image isn't one separate curve.
Is there an easy way to merge or flatten the curves to one? I know how to do this in Photoshop but not Corel. Thanks for the help.

Change view mod to simple wireframe, then you have better view of structure. Then copy whole image and ungroup it. Apply Arrange-Shaping-Boundary on that copied image, after that just take that new boundary and center it to the original image.
